Annual Okura Stillwater Tree Planting Day - 2020

The team from Friends of Okura Bush (FOOB)

A day for all interested in re-connecting to our whenua (land) as well helping to recreate a canopy where a great forest once thrived.

We have over 1000 native seedlings ready to put in the ground!

Where: Meet at the end of Duck Creek Rd in Stillwater. We will all be heading out to the Weiti River mouth. (Stillwater Recreation Reserve- 1A Duck Creek Road, Stillwater
)

When: Sunday 9 August, 10am Start

What to bring: Spades and gloves will be provided however please bring your own if you are able. Refreshments will be provided; participants are also invited to bring a plate (optional) to share goodies with your fellow planters, and lots of enthusiasm!
