Live music at Alberton Market Day!
Soundtrack for Sunday's Market at Alberton - sure to brighten up the morning if there is any drizzle - will be care of Nawlins (New Orleans) gypsy swing trio Zydecosis Band!!
Tracey Collins on the accordion, Mariak Balzat violinist and Alan McDonald on percussion will be performing from 10-12 followed by the enchanting singer songwriter Manuela who will be serenading from midday!

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
