CAREGIVER POSITION, RETIRED NURSE, STUDENT NURSE
Hi Neighbours. We need a special someone to help us with some Caregiving for my 88yo mother. We are based on the Shore. Ideally a retired nurse, or a student nurse looking for a part time job as my mother had a stroke & needs assistance. We have a carer who showers her each day so no need to do that. The role would be 1-2 days a week initially helping her get ready in the morning, making her breakfast, lunch & possibly dinner 😃 Light cleaning duties also, making her bed, cleaning her bathroom, keeping her lounge & bedroom tidy. Mum is a lovely lady, a soft spoken person, good SOH, has limited English but she is suited with somebody with a quiet, caring nature would be ideal. Scam Alert: Bank cold calls
ASB is warning customers about reports of cold calls from scammers claiming to be from ASB. These scammers are trying to obtain personal information, including usernames, dates of birth, and verification codes sent to your mobile phone.
🛡️ The "Caller Check" Test
If you get a call from someone claiming to be from ASB and you’re unsure, just ask them for a Caller Check. You will then be able to verify the call through the app.
Remember, banks will:
❌ Never ask for your banking passwords, PINs, or verification codes
❌ Never need to know your full credit card number – especially the CVC
❌ Never ask you to download software or remotely access your device
❌ Never ask you to purchase gift cards or transfer funds.
