Raising money for AIMS games for St Heliers school girls

Vjollca from Orakei

Hi every one, my daughter and 8 other girls are going to National AIMS GAMES in September to be held in Tauranga. I am wanting to help the girls raise money to support the expense of attending these games.
For some of the girls this will be a most inspiring event which they will remember for all of their lives.
I have a professional Hair salon in Glendowie and I would like to donate $5 to any person who refers to this Neighborly posting.

You can find the hair salon at 60 Washington Ave Glendowie under the name of “I’m Hair 4 You”. Please phone 4 an appointment 022 418 8729; you can also find us on Instagram – I’mhair4you

Special note; for our Islamic sisters we offer a special Hijab appointment, where we respect the privacy of these women being respected by insuring privacy in our environment with no male contact.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
