Help for the community in need
Church Unlimited is "opening our home" in August to the community!
If you, or anyone you know, is in need of food, clothes, blankets, baby gear or hygiene products, then you are welcome to drop in and take what you need.
Drop in dates are 3rd & 5th August from 9am-12pm and 4pm-8pm and 7th August 9am-5pm. All are welcome!
Address: Church Unlimited 2A Augustus Terrace, Parnell (at the bottom of Parnell Rise near the railway bridge).
If anyone wants to drop off donations, you are welcome to contact me.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
