Missing Cat

Danielle from Unsworth Heights

Our cat Aubrey is missing. We are aware an elderly Asian lady in our neighborhood has taken a fancy to him and has pretty much adopted him- she is feeding him and even has a bed at her house. We have asked her to stop feeding him but she has decided that he likes her better ( funny that since she feeds him wherever he likes!!!)

I have a devastated 4 year old at home and my husband and I are also upset. We are at a lost as what to do. When he does come home he stays for a day or so - seems happy here. We have had him for eight years, carted him to Aussie and back- we love him like a child. If she stopped feeding him we are sure he would come home to us.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
