Why not do something to celebrate Neighbours Day running from March 22nd to 31st? Join Neighbourhood Support, register your NS group or sign up to start a group - then email us with your idea, the name of your street and go into the draw. The opening ceremony is next Monday 18th February at 10.00 am.
At the opening the monks will do prayers to request permission of the local spirits to construct the mandala at this particular site. Once this has been achieved - the monks will begin construction of the mandala from the centre and over the next 6 days slowly build the mandala until completion on Sunday the 24th. During this time motivational prayers will begin at 9.00 am each day and dedication prayers will begin at 4.00 pm. These prayer go for about half an hour each time and everyone is invited to participate.
Everyone is most welcome to join in and participate in the most auspicious wonderful event.
