Kiwi Access Card

Hira Siddiqui from Citizens Advice Bureau Pakuranga/Eastern Manukau

☑️ The Kiwi Access Card, previously known as the 18+ Card, is a government recognised form of photographic ID and evidence of age card. If you do not have a current New Zealand passport or driver licence, you can use the Kiwi Access Card to apply for a RealMe verified identity or a driver licence.

👉 You can apply for a Kiwi Access Card if you are 18 or older or your 18th birthday is within one month. You do not have to be a New Zealand citizen to apply for the card, but you must be living in New Zealand.

👉 You can either apply online or by paper application form. It usually takes about 20 working days for your card to arrive. It will be valid for 10 years.

ℹ️ For more information on how you can apply for your Kiwi Access Card, visit: cab.org.nz/article/KB00001129

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
