The Panmure Business Association (PBA) aim is to support and promote local businesses to enable and encourage a successful business community.
The Town Manager leads the organisation providing future thinking and strategic relationship development, with the goal of taking the Town Centre towards an incredible future whilst recognising this wonderful multi-cultural and historic area.
The PBA is looking for a new Town Manager (0.8 FTE) to support the future vision of a thriving Town Centre, to engage the youth community, and to further build on our successes of the past.
You would be responsible for heading up the team of 4 staff and the running of day to day operations. Furthermore, this role will give the opportunity to drive and shape the strategic direction of the Association.
Member support and community relations are a key aspect of this role, as you will be the public face of the PBA, and act as the advocate for PBA on issues of relevance to the community.
Strong communication, relationship building and influencing skills are essential skills for this role, in addition to strong leadership.

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
