Supermarkets

Tonia from Mount Wellington

During lockdown instead of creating a potential pass the infection line why don’t all supermarkets go delivery or click&collect only. All supermarket staff in store and distribution centres could be utilised to pack orders 24/7, courier companies can be used to do the deliveries increasing the supermarket delivery fleet.

That way there are less people having to head outside their bubble and less chance of community transmission. Also, less aggro from waiting in line and finding that what you want to buy has run out....and no panic buying!
