after the last 2 years of no sleep on new years eve from parties that
are extremely noisy 1 last year was 2 streets away
I have no recourse with a council who are supposed to be there for
everyone not just a minority
luckily this year I don't have to work tomorrow, after no sleep as the
nosie never stopped till 6am
I feel really sad for anyone sick elderly. or with small babies having
to tolerate this from a few who are given free reighn to do what they
like and disturb others.
last year rang at 2am phone lines were already clogged and no officer came till 4 am the first time, so they are busy and are ignoring a large
part of the population
please voice your concerns to your local councillor like I did last year
rang the list of councillors at 4am, they make the rules they got
diturbed

Hi all,
This message is a warning to our community that pairs of people identifying themselves as Christians are going door to door to preach a new doctrine including 'God the Mother'.
This morning, two young people, a White young man and an Asian young lady, knocked at my door to talk about Christianity. I told them I was a Christian and happy to be so. They insisted on presenting me their information booklet and come in my house to talk about it. I told them I couldn't let them in but was happy to talk to them in their hallway.
The lady talked to me the whole time, while the man stayed behind silent. She first asked me if I had heard of God the Mother. I replied that I had not. She then wanted to show me her booklet which included verses from the Bible taken out of context to prove their doctrine. In short, she wanted me to believe that God the Father had a relation with God the Mother to produce life on earth.

In return, I shared with her 1 John 5:11-12 which says that there is eternal life only in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. She then pulled a verse from James which says that even demons believed in God. I asked her what her point was. The more I resisted her doctrine the more upset she became and used verses and psychological tactics to make me feel condemned and guilty. I stood my ground until they left.

Doing a research on this so called 'church', I found an article from The Oberlin Review dated from 2018, 23rd February, which decribes college students going about the Oberlin campus to preach this same doctrine. See oberlinreview.org...

The article says that this church is called the World Mission Society Church of God, or WMS Church of God, and is a fringe sect of Christianity. It explains that

"The WMS Church of God was founded in 1964 by Ahn Sahng-Hong. Ahn, now deceased, was believed to be the Second Coming of Christ by followers. WMSCOG followers believe in a Mother God in addition to the traditional Holy Trinity of Christian doctrine, and they claim that God the Mother and God the Father have a spousal relationship. The church is currently led by Zahng Gil-jah, a woman in her 70s deified by her followers as “God the Mother” or “Heavenly Mother.” WMS has approximately 2.7 million members in 150 countries worldwide and has received multiple accolades for its community service initiatives. WMS has obtained a religious tax exemption from the Internal Revenue Service through supposedly fraudulent means and subsists through donations from its members."

So if you see these students on the street or receive them at your door, please be aware of the false doctrine they preach. If you are a Christian, by all means, show them their error as they need to be corrected by the Word of God and find the path to eternal life.
