CAB Pakuranga celebrates its volunteers!
π We finally caught up with the last of our volunteers who missed our special Volunteer Week presentation a few weeks ago.

Each year we present a few certificates to recognise volunteers who have made an outstanding contribution. These get spread around the volunteers from year to year. All of our volunteers are absolute stars! β

Poll: Should we be giving the green light to new mining projects? π°π²
The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if itβs approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
We want to know: Should mining projects like this move ahead?
