Peking Opera Free Information session & demonstration
This coming Tuesday, May 30 2023, 3:30PM - 5:00PM at Highland Park Library - 16 Highland Park Drive.
Peking Opera is the quintessence of Chinese comprehensive performing art. Come along to a free bilingual session and learn more about the makeup, costumes, roles, music and props of Peking Opera.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
