Just a repeat that we would like more players. Would you like to play Backgammon? We have a smal group playing every Wednesday and are looking for more people to join. Backgammon is around 500 years old. It is a board game played with dice and counters. It is easy to learn and fun to play. We play from Wednesdays 12:30 to 2:30 pm and have a lot of fun. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
