We are delighted to deepen our yoga practice and knowledge with inviting you to our regular Chanting Urban Retreat led by Swami Madhuram Puri from Yoga in Daily Life Kapiti who will introduce us into the Nada Yoga - way to inner peace through Sound.

We will learn ancient mantras for the well-being, bhajans, kirtans and relax with soothing sounds of bansuri flute. The weekend is designed to leave you feeling rested, cosseted, recharged and with valuable tools to take home.

Programme:

FRIDAY 7 - 8.30pm Concert of Meditation Music & Chants

SATURDAY 7.45 - 8.45am Morning Chanting Meditation

9 - 10.30am Yoga Class

10.45 - 12pm Nada Yoga Workshop


3 - 3.30pm Yoga Nidra

3.45 - 5pm Nada Yoga Workshop

7 - 8.30pm Satsang /Bhajans/ Kirtans

What was your best purchase on an online marketplace, like Trade Me or Neighbourly?

A 1950s aircraft fuselage could be yours after a Waiuku resident listed their "old warbird" on Trade Me.

The Royal New Zealand Bristol Freighter flew as part of the Royal New Zealand Air Force during the Vietnam War. It was then purchased and shipped to Whenuapai-Ardmore in 1978 and then sold on to a Waiuku local. The sellers purchased the land at a later date, and thus the plane.

The listing starts at $18,000 and at time of publishing, has been added to almost 900 users' watchlists.
