Forest Bathing
I am starting a forest bathing/relaxing 45 minute walk (short) at Robinsons Rd entry to Riverhead Forest December 9 & 14 . It's an educational walk through the forest as well as learning some health-promoting and self-calming strategies. The groups are limited to 10 people and a donation/koha is requested. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
