Glenvar Rd intersection and upgrades

Erica Stanford - MP for East Coast Bays

The worst intersection in the East Coast Bays? One of my priorities for ECB is to ensure Auckland Transport prioritises the upgrade and realignment of Glenvar Road.

This project has been delayed for a decade, putting the safety of road users at risk. Public pressure is required to get this project prioritised. To find out how you can help, head to our website to sign a submission form, or come to my public meeting this Thursday.

Thursday 8 March @ 7.00 - 8.00pm
Long Bay Baptist Church Hall, 282 Glenvar Rd

We are looking forward to seeing everyone Thursday night, thanks for your support!

Time to Tickle Your Thinker 🧠

The Riddler from The Neighbourly Riddler

If a zookeeper had 100 pairs of animals in her zoo, and two pairs of babies are born for each one of the original animals, then (sadly) 23 animals don’t survive, how many animals do you have left in total?

Do you think you know the answer? Simply 'Like' this post and we'll post the answer in the comments below at 2pm on the day!

Poll: As a customer, what do you think about automation?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Press investigates the growing reliance on your unpaid labour.

Automation (or the “unpaid shift”) is often described as efficient ... but it tends to benefit employers more than consumers.

We want to know: What do you think about automation?

Poll: Do you think Auckland Council is doing enough to help households safely dispose of hard-to-recycle waste?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

How do we Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle the hard stuff?
We’re talking tyres, paint, and agricultural chemicals — the items that aren’t always easy to dispose of.

Recently featured in The Post, this innovative business is showing how waste can be transformed into opportunity, turning what we throw away into products.

But this raises a bigger question: how do we get our waste to the right people — the ones doing the right things with it?
♻️ Do you think Auckland Council is doing enough to help households safely dispose of hard-to-recycle waste and get it back into the supply chain?

We’d love to hear your thoughts.
