Please attend the Kaipatiki Local Board meeting on Wednesday, July 17, at 10 am. The meeting will be held at the Local Board Office, 90 Bentley Ave, Glenfield. We encourage you to voice your concerns about the ongoing issue with the bridge leading to 52 Northcote, which has yet to be repaired, causing significant traffic problems for residents living on Tonar Street as all traffic is forced to use a paper road on 54 Tonar Street.

The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
