Educational Psychology Assessments - taking bookings now

Alisha from Beach Haven

Hi all,

I am an Educational Psychologist who specialises in cognitive and achievement assessments for children (can also do assessments for attentional difficulties if concerned). I am able to diagnose learning difficulties in reading, writing and maths. If you have noticed your child isn’t progressing as well as they should be academically or their teacher has mentioned they are struggling to understand some concepts it might be wise to look into it further. I offer assessment, a 20-25 page comprehensive report about the way your child thinks and learns best and recommendations moving forward for home and school and a 1 hour follow up meeting to discuss the results.

These reports are hugely beneficial in understanding the way your child learns and thinks and notifies us re: learning difficulties. I am an ex primary school teacher of 8 years, so can phrase the school recommendations in “teacher language” also.

Please either private message me or visit www.edpsych.co.nz... for further info. I am now taking bookings for 2024 :)

Robots are stepping into repetitive roles in factories, plants and warehouses. AI is taking care of the admin tasks that once filled many mid-level office jobs.

We want to know: As the world evolves, what skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
