OPERA BITES - a little slice of opera (Performances 24 February)

Ever wanted to try opera? Love musicals and shows? Enjoy a variety of well loved opera moments (and a few surprises) at our upcoming show on SATURDAY 24 February (4pm or 8pm show). The performance features a fantastic cast of twenty singers, performing short excerpts from opera to musicals. Opera Bites offers a unique opportunity to get a feed your soul. From Mozart, to Puccini and comedy to drama - there is something for everyone here!

Opera Factory will present a selection of comedic, scandalous and tragic short scenes from a variety of well-loved opera stories at the Auckland Fringe Festival on Saturday, 24 February.

“‘Opera Bites’ has been deliberately designed like a chocolate box selection, offering those new to opera a unique, affordable and accessible opportunity to get a taste of the assorted range within this type of theatre,” says Sloman. “The costumed performance includes some wonderful, light-hearted pieces to both delight and surprise the audience.”
