Happy Chinese New Year and welcome to the Year of the Dog!

Remuera will be celebrating Chinese New Year on Friday 23 February from 6 - 9pm, so please join us for a fantastic FREE fun-filled evening the whole family will enjoy

Remuera's Chinese New Year celebration will be held at the top of St Vincent Avenue, by Remuera Library at 429 Remuera Road. Bring the whole family to enjoy lantern making, Chinese cultural performances, the traditional Chinese art of Bian Lian or 'face changing', dragon stiltwalkers, kung fu demonstrations, tea tasting and a range of Asian food stalls.

Winners of the School Lantern Competition will also be announced on the night, so come and see their fabulous lanterns.
