Urgently needed Cat Scratching Post

Sarah from Devonport

Urgently looking for a cat scratching post for my 2 kittens I am fostering for the SPCA. They have (hoping we have finally beaten it) gardia and are quarantined in our bathroom so they won't infect our older cats or my children. We are on our second time around with medication and they have been in my relatively small size bathroom for almost 4 weeks.

The new fun is to launch themselves at you as you enter the room or are attempting to use the bathroom and cling to/climb your legs with no regard to whether you are wearing trousers or not.

Unfortunately we are also quarantined at home as my daughter has covid.

If anyone living close by could please/please drop one at my letterbox, don't mind used condition, as long as it doesn't smell, I/we would be hugely grateful.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
