PHONE SCAM Warning

Keith from Belmont

Hi,
We had a landline call this morning from a call centre with and urgent sounding man on the line, saying he was from Spark and warning about a major security breach on our main line. He wanted us to go to one of our connected devices and follow his instructions.

He said that Spark supported all internet and call networks and went into some technical details.Hopefully we all have enough awareness about these tactics by now, but less tech savvy folk might not.

When I asked for his number ...... of course he did, the line went dead.
