Housing developments
Just got back from evening walk along Milford walkway and was dismayed at a sign advertising 60 leasehold apartments on the beachfront at the end of Tiri Road. Equally bemused was a Tiri Road neighbour who was taking a photo of the signboard at the same time. On my (busy) Sunnybrae Road a single house has been thrown down to be replaced by 3,4,5 or 6 (not sure) dwellings. On the opposite (Northcote) end of Sunnybrae Road 80? apartments are being built. Is this how the housing shortage is going to be solved? I think it is ghastly.
