This Sunday, SCRATCHPAD invites you to attend a FREE Open Day where you get to write your first program or if you have some experience then try that next level of coding. The event begins at 2:00pm and we encourage parents to also try their hands at coding, if the event is not full (which rarely happens).
Our Urban Forage with Riki Bennett starts with a guided walk to identify a range of edible plants, leaves and followed by a presentation along with Māori food gathering traditions and culture and finishing with a delicious gourmet luncheon featuring local ingredients.

This morning we had the first of our Matariki Art Classes - School Holiday Programme sessions. This is a hands on class led by Fine Young Artists for kids aged 6 to 15 years, where they'll learn about Matariki and make their own Matariki diorama. Sessions are twice a day every weekday during the holidays, 10.30am and 1.30pm. $10 per child (no cost for an accompanying adult).
