Child Care Spaces Available
Hi everyone. I'm a homebased childcare educator for Kia Ora Kids at Home Childcare. I have one over 2 and a few days for an under 2 space available. I have been a care educator for 9 years and live in Sunnynook and regularly attend playgroups, go to mainly music, the library, parks, playgrounds, beaches and have lots of indoor and outdoor toys available. I love to do arts and crafts and science experiments with the kids. The smaller child-educator ratio allows better quality care and less bugs spreading. Kia Ora Kids offers subsidies to families that meet the WINZ criteria and 20h completetly FREE for 3 & 4 year olds. Hourly rate is $6.50. if you are interested send me a message. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
