Junior golf coaching
Term Two Registration
Hi Team
I hope all of you are well and the first week back at school is off to a good start.
Now that we are in Alert Level 2 we can resume our Thursday junior golf classes from 4.30pm - 5.30pm from next week (28th May) and here's what you need to know:
The full price for six weeks of coaching in Term 2 is $180 for those who would like to join golf classes now.
Health and Safety
Health and safety is the top priority and the lessons will run practicing physical distancing from one another.
You will be required to bring your own golf clubs to avoid touching shared surfaces (note if you are looking to purchase golf clubs I can help provide a good rate of $40 per club through the Pro Shop).
If you are interested in registering your child for the program please let me know by emailing me. If interest is high I may start a Tuesday 4:30pm-5:30pm class also.
Regards
Ben

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
-
60.3% Yes, supporting people is important!
-
24.3% No, individuals should take responsibility
-
15.4% ... It is complicated
Night-time chipsealing works on SH2
From 9 to 17 February, stop/go traffic management will be in place on SH2 between McPherson Road and Dimmock Road on multiple nights between 9pm and 5am (Sundays to Thursdays).
During the day, all lanes will be open, but speed restrictions will apply to allow the chipseal to set and to protect vehicles travelling over the newly laid surface.
There may be delays to your journey when travelling through the area. This is weather dependent so check NZTA Journey Planner before you travel.
