Kupe’s Journey to Aotearoa
Kupe, the great navigator, honored tikanga by seeking guidance from the Atua and following traditional protocols before embarking on his journey to Aotearoa. By respecting his ancestors and observing rituals, he ensured safe passage and discovered the land with his people. His adherence to tikanga preserved cultural knowledge for generations.
Moral: Respect for customs and protocols honors heritage and ensures the preservation of wisdom.
