Glue Rat Traps are Banned - PLEASE don't use them!
Please to anyone using these in our neighbourhood (Penney Ave / Doug Goodwin Place), these are banned in NZ and have been since 2015 under the Animal Welfare Act. They did not catch the rats or mice you were intending it for. Instead my cat came home entangled in this terrible device, distressed and panicked. Please please please throw these away and use an alternative. Thank you

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
