Please - Stop panic buying/Hoarding

Kim Neighbourly Lead from Mount Roskill

Just something for the panic buyers/hoarders to think about.

Of your 100 rolls of toilet paper, how many does your elderly neighbour have that can only get out 1 time a week? They won't find any on the shelf. I'm sure you can spare a 4 pack.
Of your 15 bottles of hand sanitiser, did you think about that cancer patient who has a compromised immune system or did you leave a few or give them some?
Of your 100 frozen $1 pies did you consider the single parent that now has to feed their kids an extra meal or snack? Or will you make it for them and deliver it?
Of your 30 packs of baby wipes, and 6 tins of formula, what is the new mother to use? I hope you listen if someone says they are out or to the grandparents that just don't have that stuff laying around.

YOU SEE, YOUR HOARDING IS HELPING NO ONE.

Step back a moment and think about the next person who can't buy it because they are waiting on the next paycheck, waiting for a ride, or just can't get to the store.
If you are the hoarder of disaster, help someone who's life might be already shaken.

stole this from a friends news feed! its pretty powerful!

Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? 🛻🚨🚓

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?

What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?
