Need window repairs?

Philip from Exceed we fix windows & doors

It’s starting to get a lot warmer and you may be starting to open your windows again but then notice they are a bit stiff, or the handle is a bit loose...
Window hinges do not like being left unused and can seize up and handles can break. If you have windows that are stiff to open or close or leave big old draught gaps, give us a call. Hinges can easily be replaced without worrying about the cost of replacing the whole window.

Call us on 0800 25 25 25 and let Exceed experts help you with any issues with your windows & doors!

Razor blades in the walls....

Kylie Klein Nixon Reporter from Homed

Has anyone ever seen something like the image below in an older Kiwi home? Does anyone remember them from their childhood? These strange slots allowed you to rid yourself of an old razor and never think of it again...but it also meant, years down the track, that someone renovating would be in for a nasty, rusty surprise.
I'm certain I've seen something like this here in Aotearoa-NZ, but can't for the life of me recall where. It was in the back of the medicine cupboard. Let us know if you've seen, had - or have - one in your home.

Seed Sharing for Neighbours Day!

The Team from Neighbours Day Aotearoa

We love how creative some people are with their plant giving! This is for goodie bags for a 7 year olds party but we reckon you could borrow this wonderful idea for the Neighbours Day Aotearoa Great Plant Swap!
What a lovely gift to get and it's not just kids who love sunflowers.

ADDED BONUS: if you give your neighbours sunflower seeds you would get to enjoy their beautiful flowers too!

Have you signed up for Neighbours Day 2021 yet? There's lots of ways you can join in...check out our website to register today:

Pressure Treatment - Free (by a student)

Alicja from Point Chevalier

Hi,
I am urgently looking for more people or pets to practice on. Treatments are painless, safe, gentle and take about an hour. I've had some great results so far with adults, children, dogs and horses, ranging from less pain, improved movement and better posture to less anxiety. I've just attended the second part of my training and want to put it into use straight away, so that I don't forget what I've learned at the course. I don't have a treatment room yet, but I do have a (very comfortable) massage table. Please DM me if you, or someone you know, would be up for a relaxing session in the comfort of your own home. Thank you!
