Hi neighbours. Queues at the St Luke's Covid-19 station stretched back almost a kilometre on Thursday. It follows massive demand for testing on Wednesday, leaving people waiting hours in line across the region. Have you waited hours in line to be tested or been held up in the resulting traffic?

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
