Decluttering, or looking for flea market treasures? Join us this Sunday at the Pt Chevalier Bowling Club carpark and help raise funds for the Dignan St Community Garden. Bring your gear to sell by wheelbarrow, bike trailer, suitcase (no cars please) and a mat to mark your spot. Sausage sizzle, drinks etc. Inside the Bowling Club if it's raining. Then join the Community Garden group for our free Neighbours Day gathering at midday for garden tours, snacks and great music.
Stall fees: children $5, adults $10.
Auckland Harbour Bridge summer works
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is carrying out essential maintenance on the Auckland Harbour Bridge this December and January. The southbound clip-on lanes will be closed (24/7) from 26 December to 5 January for road resurfacing. Night-time lane restrictions will be in place throughout the summer for recoating work on the bridge. Traffic will still be able to travel in both directions at all times.
