Are you grieving?

Ellie from Howick

We are back!

Disclaimer: Grief is not limited to huge life tragedies and loss! Your grief could look like: losing a friendship, experiencing a breakup, death, family changes, moving away, changing/losing old parts of yourself, personality changes, or whatever you feel has brought up feelings of loss/disorientation. All flavours and variations of grief are welcome.
___

How do we bravely feel the truth of what is seemingly no longer, while transitioning into living a life honouring the newness in who we are becoming, after experiencing loss? Grief is a rite of passage into reconnection with our soul.

At ‘Glitter in Grief’, you are invited to experience a shift into this awareness as Soul-First Guide, Ellie Bambury, welcomes you into a whole new way of communing with your grief, through cultivating a relationship with your higher self and deeply transforming every relationship in your life.

We only ever grieve that which we authentically care for, right? Yet, sometimes, what we are actually grieving for can get lost in translation. Being able to recognise what gives our lives real substance will inspire us to pursue vibrant new beginnings, with deep holistic awareness.

>>> This event is designed to reignite you with your soul to move through grief with a deeper feeling of love & genuine connection, and ignite your desire to consciously step into the new, fresh way of being your soul is calling you towards.

A taste of what to expect:

> Discover Ellie’s enlightening new paradigm for accessing and expressing genuine feelings

> Explore how developing compassionate boundaries and communication skills helps us to co-create true safety, depth and sincerity in all of our relationships (which is crucial as we move through grief and change!)

> Rekindle your relationship with storytelling: You will have the opportunity to share your story and listen to others share theirs - if you’re not ready to share, then bearing witness to those who are can become a tonic for you.

⚠️ DOGS DIE IN HOT CARS. If you love them, don't leave them. ⚠️

The Team from SPCA New Zealand

It's a message we share time and time again, and this year, we're calling on you to help us spread that message further.
Did you know that calls to SPCA about dogs left inside hot cars made up a whopping 11% of all welfare calls last summer? This is a completely preventable issue, and one which is causing hundreds of dogs (often loved pets) to suffer.
Here are some quick facts to share with the dog owners in your life:

👉 The temperature inside a car can heat to over 50°C in less than 15 minutes.
👉 Parking in the shade and cracking windows does little to help on a warm day. Dogs rely on panting to keep cool, which they can't do in a hot car.
👉 This puts dogs at a high risk of heatstroke - a serious condition for dogs, with a mortality rate between 39%-50%.
👉 It is an offence under the Animal Welfare Act to leave a dog in a hot vehicle if they are showing signs of heat stress. You can be fined, and prosecuted.
SPCA has created downloadable resources to help you spread the message even further. Posters, a flyer, and a social media tile can be downloaded from our website here: www.spca.nz...
We encourage you to use these - and ask your local businesses to display the posters if they can. Flyers can be kept in your car and handed out as needed.
This is a community problem, and one we cannot solve alone. Help us to prevent more tragedies this summer by sharing this post.
On behalf of the animals - thank you ❤️
