Groovy feature album on East FM, this Saturday arvo from 3pm

Phil from Farm Cove

Okay, so the head's still in Waikiki (no kidding, PJ), and the body's back in Farm Cove, so that means we're playing rock 'n roll from all eras on this arvo's She'll Be Right on Saturdays Show with PJ Taylor on EAST FM 88.1 107.1 3pm to 7pm (NZ time).
Got a cool, special feature album - Daddy's Home by St Vincent (aka Annie Clark, originally of Dallas, Texas) from last year - one of the recent purchases from Barnes and Noble in Honolulu.
Read a lot about St Vincent and this work Daddy's Home over the past year and a couple of plays have revealed it's very musically clever, interesting, diverse and ultimately groovy. There's a lot going on. We'll spin it in entirety from 5pm.
The rest of the show will be spent touring all the other musical neighbourhoods.
East FM is East Auckland's dedicated community-powered public service radio station, broadcasting on local frequencies 88.1FM and 107.1FM, globally at www.eastfm.nz... and on app iHeart Radio ๐Ÿ“ป
She'll Be Right ๐Ÿ‘‰ it's all about the vibe; it's all about the groove. - PJ

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens arenโ€™t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days โ€” the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, whoโ€™s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
