Life-Drawing Workshop with a difference!
Time is running out to come and join our group of keen artists as we spend an afternoon drawing, not just a model but a musician!
Yep! We will be focusing on drawing a musician while they play.
(No, they are not nude, fully clothed!) We can listen while we work.
Only $20.00 for two hours. Saturday 25th July - 2.30 to 4.30 pm at Te Whare Ora, 37 Uxbridge Road, Howick. (Just next to Uxbridge)
I have called the workshop - 'Musocoal' - part Muso and Charcoal.
There will be light refreshments at half time. So bring your pencils, pens, charcoal, sketching paper whatever and enjoy the afternoon.
I will provide an A4 clipboard but if you want to go bigger that will be up to you to bring something to lean on. It will be tutor-less so you can explore drawing in your own way. Don't worry if you haven't done it before or not, just give it a go! Could be the start of a new thing for you! Phone or text Megan = 021 1085419

Scam Alert: Bank cold calls
ASB is warning customers about reports of cold calls from scammers claiming to be from ASB. These scammers are trying to obtain personal information, including usernames, dates of birth, and verification codes sent to your mobile phone.
🛡️ The "Caller Check" Test
If you get a call from someone claiming to be from ASB and you’re unsure, just ask them for a Caller Check. You will then be able to verify the call through the app.
Remember, banks will:
❌ Never ask for your banking passwords, PINs, or verification codes
❌ Never need to know your full credit card number – especially the CVC
❌ Never ask you to download software or remotely access your device
❌ Never ask you to purchase gift cards or transfer funds.
If you have received a phone call and think your account has been compromised, call ASB on 0800 ASB FRAUD (0800 272 372), or visit your local branch.
