Volunteer Facilitator/Companions Needed

The Team from Grief and Loss Support Services

Have you ever thought of doing some voluntary work?

Grief and Loss support services are looking to train local people as volunteer facilitators/companions for our Seasons for Growth grief and loss programme in local schools for young people who are dealing with significant life changes .

You would have had a personal experience of loss and grief, and be available during school time for approximately 2 hours per week over a school term.

These programmes are open to the community and are non-religious.

The initial training will be held over two days on weekend at no cost to you.

For further information contact Lesley on 022 0697384 or email griefandloss@allsaintshowick.org.nz

Poll: Should you ask before planting tall shrubs/trees near your property line?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

It may be fine now but in a few years trees can block out light or views for neighbours.

Do you think neighbours should ask before they go ahead and plant these?
