Let us take you on a journey through two of our favourite eras, beginning with Bach’s Concerto for Oboe & Violin featuring our concertmaster Yanghe Yu and Principal oboist Alison Dunlop, followed by Vivaldi’s joyous Gloria.
Also in the programme, the most beautiful of Dvořák’s Slavonic Dances and his triumphant Te Deum. To top it off, world-renowned bass Martin Snell will sing Wagner’s beautiful Song to the Evening Star.
Conducted by Rita Paczian, who is celebrating her 25th anniversary as Music & Artistic Director of Bach Musica NZ, this concert will be a wonderful way to commence the Christmas season.
