Wilderness Adventure

The Team from Graeme Dingle Foundation Auckland

Project K has three core components including a Wilderness Adventure which lasts for three weeks. This time away breaks down barriers and opens the students up to their real potential. As well as teaching outdoor skills, this adventure encourages the development of self-knowledge, life direction and learning how to set goals.

Students from Graeme Dingle Foundation Auckland recently kayaked through Mine Bay in Taupo as part of their wilderness adventure.

Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.

This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.

Do you think this ban is reasonable?
