Defibrillator for Huntington Park
Huntington Park Residents and Rate Payers Assn has been behind a plan to install a Defibrillator in Huntington Park. There are already a few close by but most of them are located inside businesses, meaning you can only access them in business hours. We need one in the area available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It would be located by the entrance to the daycare centre and the 47A Huntington Drive Apartments. If you would like to donate to this project then please contact us. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
