Defibrillator for Huntington Park
Huntington Park Residents and Rate Payers Assn has been behind a plan to install a Defibrillator in Huntington Park. There are already a few close by but most of them are located inside businesses, meaning you can only access them in business hours. We need one in the area available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. It would be located by the entrance to the daycare centre and the 47A Huntington Drive Apartments. If you would like to donate to this project then please contact us. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
