PART TIME CASUAL POSITION - PERSONAL ASSISTANT / CARER

Seeking a friendly and caring Personal Assistant/Carer for 4-9 hours per week during the middle of the day approx 11am - 1pm 2-3 days a week - no weekends, but flexible with days would be ideal. Local Sunnyhills location.

No previous experience necessary, on the job training provided.

Role involves making lunch (or driving to pick up something tasty), running errands, taking the client for occasional drives, hanging out and folding washing, ironing and keeping the kitchen tidy. Client has a full time cleaner and morning and evening personal carers.

This would be a great role for an empty nester or someone wanting only a few hours per week, but meaningful and interesting. Client has lots of great stories and interests to chat about as you get to know him!

Immediate start.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
