Don't miss out on our Term 3 Art Development courses.
Only 6 more sleeps to go until our art classes start again.
So be in quick. Our courses are there for people from absolute beginner to intermediate ability. From ages 9 through to adults.
Our focus is on drawing, painting, and sculpture, as these are great disciplines that inform each other. But you can choose to focus on one of them if you like.
The art development course projects are student and tutor-initiated, which means we follow you and your ideas and exploration and show you techniques along the way. And we also stop the class on occasion to show specific techniques to the whole group.
Classes run after school and on Saturday mornings from - Megan Murphy's home studio, a local artist.
The school has been running since 2007 and we are proud to say we have had students who have stayed with us for up to 5 years.
Check out more details about the courses on - www.vizart.co.nz...
Contact Megan. We would love to see you here.

Night-time chipsealing works on SH2
From 9 to 17 February, stop/go traffic management will be in place on SH2 between McPherson Road and Dimmock Road on multiple nights between 9pm and 5am (Sundays to Thursdays).
During the day, all lanes will be open, but speed restrictions will apply to allow the chipseal to set and to protect vehicles travelling over the newly laid surface.
There may be delays to your journey when travelling through the area. This is weather dependent so check NZTA Journey Planner before you travel.
