Every day we are exposed to toxic metals and other elements in our surrounding environment either through contamination or occupational exposure. Also, nutritional deficiencies are becoming more widespread due to an increase in consumption of highly processed and poor quality foods among other damaging lifestyle practices. The OligoScan utilises Spectrophotometry, an instrument that measures the amount of light emitted by a light source. Sporting the bright purple and orange campaign shirts, these wonderful walkers hit the Auckland waterfront and marched from Mission Bay to Kohimarama, raising awareness for bowel cancer and the importance of early detection along the way.
