Aotearoa Resettled Community Coalition (ARCC, www.arcc.org.nz...) is supporting a Syrian-New Zealander community member from our forced migrant background community. She has recently relocated to Auckland and today is moving with her 5 children from emergency housing to a house provided by Kainga Ora. The family has basic items such as towels and cutlery, but no essential furniture items such as beds, a fridge, washing machine, sofa, tables, chairs etc. Should you have any such items no longer needed but in reasonable condition that you would be happy to donate to ARCC to support this family, please contact ARCC (james@arcc.org.nz or 09 846 0110 - calls from 9am to 5.30pm). Any items ideally needed this week to support the family with their move.
