Hi neighbours, a two-year-old boy has spent half his life in hospital because of a rare disease that can see him pass up to 40 painful bowel movements a day.
Now, his family is hoping to raise $150,000 to take him to the United States for an operation to eliminate his pain.

Most of our events are going ahead as planned at this stage, and are taking place outdoor, mainly in nature, in a small group setting. We would like to reassure you that we support all actions to protect community health and closely monitor the Ministry of Health guidelines about COVID-19. If an event is cancelled, we inform all who registered and update our website. If planning to attend an event, please follow current recommendations, including:
- not to attend an event if you are feeling unwell, have been in, or transited through countries with high infection rates, or have been in close contact with someone confirmed with COVID-19 in the past 14 days
- be conscious to reduce touching your face, shaking hands, close contact greetings
practice good hygiene – cough into your elbow, wash hands for 20 seconds before eating, and after using the bathroom or touching surfaces that are used by many.

I thought in these times of isolation and uncertainty with work and what not , we could use this time to get into some creative spaces within ourselves to produce some awesome projects as a collective .
If anyone has some ideas for creative challenges for us all to participate in then please don’t be shy (eg. 7 day drawing challenge, poetry, writing , dance, photography etc.) .
It can be as broad or as specific as you like .
Something you think would work well for everyone to take part in and have abit of fun with . ☺️
Let’s get creative and take this time to get into something new or get back into those things we wish we had more time to do. (Unintentional rhyme 😛)
Stay safe and if you’re feeling abit down or lonely and want a good ol yarn then please feel free to reach out to me , it can be hard to keep your head above water during these times and that’s totally understandable.

Hi neighbours, some cafes are temporarily banning the use of reusable coffee cups - or 'keep cups' - because of the coronavirus.
Has your local stopped accepting reusable cups?
