For NZ Music Month, Depot Sound is running a competition for secondary & intermediate North Shore musicians & bands!
Submit a song to win studio time & other great perks
Judges include Laughton Kora (Kora), Sven Pettersen (The Checks/Racing), Ed Knowles (The Checks/Racing), Taisha Tari (Artist), Emme Lentino (Artist) & Neil Baldock (Award Winning Engineer).
Competition is open now and submissions close on 31 May.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
