Calling art enthusiasts of all ages to join us on our term three courses:
'Art Appreciation with Paragon Matter'
Join Jonathan Organ (MFA) and Jessica Pearless (MFA) of Paragon Matter Art Services on a fascinating 9-week journey exploring modern art and art history from the turn of the century to the present day.
On this fun and informative course we will cover many popular art movements, from surrealism to post-modernism as well as looking at the world of conceptual art. We will enjoy discussing current exhibitions around New Zealand and overseas and learn about the history and culture of art in society.
Come along to start or expand your knowledge of art in a welcoming environment. Suitable for all art enthusiasts from beginners to advanced learners. Refreshments provided.

Paragon Matter believe that art and creativity are essential to development and learning at all ages.
Paragon Matter's Art Appreciation classes taught by Jessica Pearless inpire children and young people to explore and experiment by looking at, talking about and creating art. Each child is encouraged to think creatively and learn through making and discussion within a group environment using non toxic quality art materials. Suitable for ages 5 - 15.

Jessica Pearless is a Devonport based Master of Fine Art (Hons) educated Visual Artist, Educator and Director of Paragon Matter Art Services. She is experienced in teaching children, young adults and adults from primary school to university level in practical art, art history and art theory.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
