The Gift Card was given to my wife and I by our daughters to use for domestic travel/holiday. Unfortunately, if used at Flight Centre for a domestic flight with Jetstar , there is a commission charge of $30 per ticket, i.e. in our case $60 of the $100 gift card lost. This is in addition to a $9.95 surcharge per ticket on domestic bookings. Apparently Jetstar charges Flight Centre to sell their domestic tickets so the only way to make it worthwhile is for Flight Centre to charge commission when selling their flights. Extremely disappointed and annoyed as I`m writing this.

Price: $100

Mild conditions mean they survived, and their numbers are increasing every day. Rats are going to be one of the main pests - especially in Auckland. They're capable of producing litters of up to 10 offspring every eight weeks under favourable conditions.

This can have a "massive impact" on our native fauna and flora. Rats are a threat for our native birds, insects, geckos and plants - including species like the yellow head and orange-fronted parakeet. And just like rodents, wasps and other creepy crawlies also like warmer weather. These hungry pests can cause chaos to our food supply as they chew on crops and friendly insects and spoil stored food products.

Police aren't aware of a spike in rental property break-ins on the North Shore, but suggest that landlords:
• Keep windows and doors locked
• Maintain a "lived-in" appearance on empty properties
• Keep trees and bushes tidy so burglars can't hide in them
• Use good quality locks and a reputable locksmith
• Install sensor lights
• Keep garden sheds and garages secure.
