🎭 Nelson Fringe Festival: The city is alive with "fringy awesomeness!" Catch quirky theatre, comedy, and music across various venues. Keep an eye out for the Free Fringe Outdoors in the Square for a surprise variety mix!
🚤 NZ Antique & Classic Boat Show: Head up to the stunning Lake Rotoiti (St Arnaud) to see beautiful restored boats, steam launches, and jet boats. The "Drive-Past" at 2:00 pm on Saturday is always a highlight!
🏃♂️ Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon: Sunday morning at Tahunanui is all about our tamariki! Come down and cheer on the young champions as they swim, cycle, and run their way to the finish line.
🍓 The Nelson Market: It’s a Saturday morning staple at Montgomery Square. Grab a Bratwurst, a fresh coffee, and browse the best local crafts and produce from 8:00 am.
🎪 Weber Bros 'The Circus': If you’re looking for family thrills, the big top is up at Saxton Field all weekend!
🚗 Further afield ... The 20th Marlborough Multicultural Festival is taking over Pollard Park (Blenheim) this weekend

Not every pair of jeans makes it to the rack... but that doesn’t mean their story ends there. Our talented volunteer Annie has been transforming damaged denim into handcrafted bags, hats and aprons in our Onehunga SPCA Op Shop ✂️🧵
This latest batch even features her own hand-sewn designs, and customers have been loving them, they sell almost as soon as they hit the shelf!
It’s creativity, sustainability and community all stitched together, helping animals in need 🐾
