Roaming pets that belong to everyone
Hi Neighbours,
Do you know of any fur-babies that roam at specific places and are tagged everyone's pet? Daisy the cat is a regular at the Waitakere Hospital in West Auckland, and even has a social media page dedicated to people's experiences with her. If you know any cat or dogs like Daisy that frequent your local cafe, library, town hall, university, hospital etc please contact me (torika.tokalau@stuff.co.nz / 027 200 5142). Thanks!

Kōnae has information on more than 60 state and faith-based organisations that have records for over 800 homes and places in Aotearoa New Zealand about people who have been in their guardianship or care.
The Kōnae map shows past and present places in Aotearoa New Zealand like children’s homes, hospitals, orphanages, boarding schools, Youth Justice facilities and many more.
Each place on the map has details about who was responsible for running it and how to get records.
The map can be searched and filtered by

- location
- date range
- religion
- type of organisation.
